As a woman, I am proud to have been growing coffee for 16 years in the company of my husband and daughters, because before we discovered this beautiful plant, we used to grow poppies for drugs. We lived illegally and lost family and friends. These plants bring only misery, but coffee has brought us peace and prosperity and greater family harmony.
The area of the farm is approximately 7 hectares at an altitude of about 2,100 m above sea level.
The settlement of Vereda el paramo is located in an indigenous Inca reserve called Aponte, in the municipality of Tablon de Gomez, in the Nariño region. In our beloved Colombia.
The coffee farm started in 2007, my husband supported the idea and today my daughters are also in love with this crop because they have seen that through coffee we can change, learn and work on ourselves.
